Design, specification, installation and standards management.
My career has spanned a period of great change through innovation in the live entertainment industry. I have experienced a metamophosis from the wild west to tremendous rule overseen by large corporate interests. Although I don't necessarily appreciate the idea of large corporations running everything, I do appreciate the trend of industry specific materials and rigging product lines that have made our jobs safer, and our work more efficiant. In addition to entertainment rigging, both arena and theatrical, I am currently certified as a Manlift Operator Certification Trainer, and hold valid ETCP, SPRAT and IRATA certifications. Some of my most fun projects are noted below:
Touring Production rigger for Sabbath...are you kidding!
Put the Fathers of grunge music on the Space Needle for a live performance, no sweat.
A gig that didn't yield a new world record, but brought me closer to a dear friend and a new community. Loved every second of it!
A complex and challenging show from the start. I pride myself on being teachable in any situation, and this tour was an amazing learning experience. Bring it on!
About once a month I will post a blog or produce a newsletter, depending on the time I have to develop material. If you're interestedin receiving notice, please leave your [referred email address. I will NEVER sell or otherwise distribute your email address and you will ever be sent spam.
